About & Methodology
ComputeYard is built by a derivatives quantitative developer. The goal is simple: investing and trading calculators that are fast, free, and provably correct — with the formula and a worked example shown on every page.
How we verify the math
All calculations live in a pure Python engine that is covered by a suite of golden-vector unit tests — specific inputs with hand-checked expected outputs — so results are exact and regressions are caught automatically. Money is computed in exact decimal arithmetic, not floating point.
Scope & limits
Options results are profit/loss at expiry (no time value or Greeks). Annualised income returns use a simple 365-day basis. Results exclude fees, slippage, and taxes unless stated. Everything here is educational, not financial advice.
